The necessary paperwork
Refund Policy
Digital education needs a fair exit, not a trapdoor. It also cannot be fully consumed and then returned like an ugly lamp.
Last updated: August 18, 2026Course purchases
A course purchase is eligible for a refund when the request is made within seven calendar days of purchase, less than 20 percent of the course has been completed, and no certificate of completion has been issued.
When refunds are not available
- More than 20 percent of the course has been completed
- A completion certificate has been generated or downloaded
- The access period has expired
- The request is based only on a licensing board declining the hours when the course page clearly stated that acceptance must be verified
- The account was suspended for sharing, copying, fraud, or other misuse
Technical problems
If a verified technical problem prevents reasonable access, Project Cynic will first try to restore access or extend the access period. If the problem cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, a refund may be issued regardless of ordinary progress limits.
Duplicate purchases
Accidental duplicate charges for the same customer and course will be refunded after verification. Because charging someone twice is not a bold revenue strategy. It is just annoying.
How to request a refund
Email support@projectcynic.com from the address tied to your purchase. Include the course name, purchase date, and a short explanation of the request. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time after approval depends on the payment provider and financial institution.
